🧂 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
3 medium boiled potatoes, peeled and mashed
1 small onion, finely chopped (optional)
1–2 green chilies, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh coriander, finely chopped
½ tsp red chili powder
½ tsp roasted cumin powder
½ tsp chaat masala
ÂĽ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp amchur powder or 1 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
1 tsp oil or ghee (optional, for sautéing spices)
A pinch of black salt (optional, for chaat flavor)
🧑🍳 Instructions
Step 1: Sauté the Base (Optional)
Heat oil or ghee in a pan (optional for deeper flavor).
Add chopped green chilies and onions (if using), and sauté until lightly golden.
Step 2: Spice It Up
Add mashed potatoes and toss well.
Sprinkle in turmeric, red chili powder, roasted cumin, chaat masala, amchur powder, black salt, and regular salt.
Mix everything thoroughly to coat the potatoes with spices.
Step 3: Garnish & Serve
Turn off the heat and mix in fresh coriander.
Taste and adjust spices, tang, or salt as needed.
