A calming, naturally sweet herbal tea that supports digestion and soothes the stomach after meals.
🍵 Ingredients:
1½ tsp fennel seeds (Welza Big Fennel Seeds recommended)
1½ cups water
Optional add-ons:
2–3 mint leaves (for freshness)
A small slice of ginger (for extra warmth)
A pinch of cumin seeds (to enhance digestion)
Honey or jaggery, to taste (optional)
🔥 Instructions:
1. Crush the Seeds (Optional):
Lightly crush fennel seeds using a mortar and pestle to release their oils (optional but recommended for a stronger brew).
2. Boil the Tea:
In a small pot, bring water to a boil.
Add fennel seeds (and ginger or cumin if using).
Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5–7 minutes until the water is infused with flavor.
3. Strain & Serve:
Strain into a cup.
Add mint leaves or sweetener if desired.
Sip warm, especially after meals.
🌼 Why It Works:
Fennel contains anethole, which helps relieve bloating, indigestion, and gas. This tea is caffeine-free and perfect as a daily digestive aid.
💡 Welza Tip:
Roast the fennel seeds lightly before boiling for a more toasty, caramel-like flavor.
